5 days a week is a good place to start. That way you have two days off, although the newer studies show people should exercise daily.

    if you are new in workout routine you need only 4 days per week to workout and rest in the three other days to give your body time for recovery so if you workout in the first day with cardio and resistant then you can do the other day weight lifting by keeping exercises by this method you will get your body stronger best of luck and enjoy your life
