How Soon After Ovulation Can Pregnancy Be Detected?

I need some help here. We are trying for a baby. I ovulated the 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th of this month. My period was due the 23th. Of course it is late. I am unsure if I am pregnant or not and I think it is too soon to detect the pregnancy hormones in my body? Althou I have taken 3 test all negative. I think it might be too sonon to know for sure. What do you think? How long should you wait after ovulation to detect pregnancy? Please help?

You only normally ovulate once a cycle, rarely a second time. If you mean you had EWCM those days you probably ovulated the 16th or 17th. 14 days from then you shoudl get an accurate result. It is possible but again rare to get one sooner than that.

I would wait until tomorrow or the next day and test again. Try to do it in the morning with you first wake up. This will give you the best possible urine to test with.
    Good Luck & Baby Dust!

Actually, your last period’s starting date is not what determines when your next one starts, it is your ovulation date that determines it. It sounds like to me if you ovulated around the 16th, you would only be 10 dpo today and it could be too early to test. Either you ovulated late or always have a short luteal phase, I’m not sure which, but I would wait until the 29th to test again. Good luck!
